CASE STUDY
We received an order to send a bottle of whisky to Kyrghyzstan.

We wanted to be sure the gift arrived safely, so we phoned the Embassy to see what the position was regarding import duties, customs and difficulty of delivery and the question of sending alchohol to a muslim country.

Clearly there were immense dificulties – we phoned the customer and asked her if she wished to proceed, or course she didn’t. We refunded her cheque immediately (and sent another cheque when the puppy ate the first one).

We lost that order but were rewarded with three orders later that month from the customer who was pleased we had alerted her to the difficulties.

• When we send by mail don’t forget that once we have posted the parcel we have no control over it! This is why we prefer to send by Special Delivery or Airsure/Airmail, signed for where that country is covered.
• We can always send by courier (e.g. UPS, FedEx, if you wish). For those who may want a particular component sourced by us we will always quote before sending.
• Please note, not every country accepts international signed for or Airsure
• Couriers and international signed for services cannot be sent to overseas box office numbers
• The post code is vital for quotations and safe delivery
• We CAN deliver to office addresses abroad and private addresses which may be of assistance
• The price on the site is the UK special Delivery price – we can quote for delivery to any other country.
